Packers RB Josh Jacobs (knee) off injury report, good to go Thursday vs. Lions

Jacobs’ imminent return is a boon for Green Bay’s offense. Coming off a Pro Bowl campaign in his first season with the Packers, Jacobs has amassed 885 yards and 11 touchdowns on 197 carries this year.

Along with Jordan Love, Jacobs has been the stalwart part of the offense in the wake of Tucker Kraft’s season-ending injury and a wide receiver room that saw its share of drop issues and injury woes; Jayden Reed (foot/shoulder) will not return and Matthew Golden (wrist) is questionable, while Dontayvion Wicks is good.

Jacobs will certainly be counted on against Detroit’s ferocious 11th-ranked offense against the run as the Packers try to sweep the Lions for the first time since 2020 and keep pressure on the Bears atop the NFC North.

Should Jacobs feel any lingering effects or should the Packers simply be cautious about injuries, he could be talked about more than usual by Emanuel Wilson, who had a 125-yard, two-TD performance against the Vikings filling in at RB1.

The Packers and Lions kick off the Thanksgiving tri-header at 1:00 PM ET.
