Jones was limited throughout the week during training with knee and diagonal injuries after tightening through a week 5 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. This was the third start of Jones this season for 49ers in Light Purdy, who deteriorated a teeth that has kept him from 2, 3, 5 and now 6. Purdy did not practice all this week.
Since Purdy became San Francisco’s starting player in week 14 in the 2022 period, there are 49ers 3-3 without him. All of these three wins have come this season through Jones.
When Purdy plans to miss another game, the team’s greatest concern is now over to Jones’ supply.
On Thursday, he could not throw the ball into practice despite being registered as limited.
Through three games this year, Jones has completed 66.7% of his consignments in 905 meters, six contact surfaces and only one interception where he has managed the 49ers in the first place in the aftermath of a little rebuilding career.
Martinez, 25, has never played NFL Snap. He has spent time with Detroit Lions, New York Jets and signed with the 49ers training team this summer. That signing came after he led Birmingham the stallions at the UFL Championships and won the league’s most valuable player.
