Brady signed a 10-year deal with Fox in 2022 (while he was still an active player for Tampa Bay Buccaneers) to call games with lead player Kevin Burkhardt.
Brady began his announcement career last season while his share in Raiders was on hold in the league and the NFL set restrictions on Brady’s radio access before 1. Week 2024 of the season.
Last season, Brady was not allowed to attend a production meeting in person or online and did not have access to team facilities.
The league is allowing Brady to attend a production meeting slightly this season and the NFL said on Tuesday that it was under the individual’s decision to determine what information is shared with Brady.
“Tom continues to be banned from going into team facilities for training or production meetings,” the department said in a statement. “He could attend a production meeting slightly but could not personally attend Team Facility or Hotel. He could also hold an interview with a player as he did last year several times, including for Super Bowl. Of course, as with any production meeting with broadcasting, it is up to the club, coach or players.
Raiders plays the next Washington commander, but Brady during the season called on Fox 21 September.
