Louis Rees-Zammit, Jaguars, announces he leaves NFL and returns to Rugby

Louis Rees-Zammit, Jaguars, probably returned to Rugby after 'one to two more years' in addition to trying to do it in nfl

In other respects than the timing, it is the unexpected decision of Rees-Zammit, who began its days in the NFL with Kansas City Chiefs, but ends them after a little more than one year in the sport after never playing in the usual game. He hinted to return to Rugby in June, but said he probably had “one to two more years to try to achieve it” in the league. Instead, a month later, he is on the move back to be rugger.

This 24 -year -old athlete in the UK was a representative of Wales, won the six nations in 2021 and played for the British and Irish Lions in Rugby. Then, as part of the International Player Pathway plan NFL, signed with Chiefs in the spring of 2024, indicating that he had achieved everything in him as a rugby player.

By joining Chiefs and offensive Guru Andy Reid, he seemed to be in the right place if he would do as running, WR and/or specific teams. However, it did not work with Kansas City, as he played in three games before the season last year and had only one catch in three meters on two targets. He was cut by the rulers and landed with Jaguar. Rees-Zammit negotiated with the Jacksonville Exercise Group and has been an exemption from the project register this year as a member of the international way.

Now his international path is likely to lead him back across the Atlantic, but his future Rugby is left for future announcements; On Thursday, a conclusion set in his days and strives to seat in the NFL.
