Who wouldn’t love a unique ball for a big clash? The LFP and Kipsta have introduced five commemorative spheres built just for this season’s Matchs Temps Forts fixtures.
Ten fixtures—including the Classique, Olympico and three derby showdowns—will showcase the exclusive balls.
Each sphere keeps Ligue 1’s signature graphics, bears both clubs’ crests and adopts a palette tailored to the spotlight match; they won’t be sold and stay on the field only. In my view, these collectibles add flair to the league’s brand.
The first design hits the pitch this Sunday at 8:45 pm (Matchday 5) for the PSG‑OM classic, followed by LOSC‑Lens, Monaco‑Nice and the Paris derby between PSG and Paris FC.
The remaining balls should appear as the ten matchweeks unfold, though the LFP hasn’t hinted at a future commercial release. Will fans clamor for these pieces to become permanent souvenirs?
