Gian Piero Gasperini announced a 22‑player roster that features five teenagers for Roma’s Udinese trip in Serie A.
Injuries have sidelined key men such as Paulo Dybala, Manu Kone and the goalkeeper, while Lorenzo Pellegrini will also sit out the Udinese clash on Saturday.
Pierluigi Gollini is set to start between the sticks, backed by understudies Devis Vasquez and 19‑year‑old Giorgio De Marzi.
Four more teens join the squad: wing‑back Emanuele Lulli (19), who netted in his last two league games, recent signing Rodrigo Mora (19), and academy graduates Alessandro Di Nunzio (19) and Mandjou Camara (17).
Roma remain one of only three unbeaten sides after nine rounds, fresh from a 4‑2 victory over Cagliari that thrilled fans. For my money, this attacking flair could prove decisive this season.
They now face an Udinese outfit that has dropped six consecutive games under Kosta Runjaic, leaving them perched just above the drop zone with five points.
