Zion Suzuki (Aston Villa): He conceded two to Spurs when Villa gave up, so the goals weren’t his fault.
He owned his area and adapted to the league fast, despite Emiliano Martínez’s exit. Frequent drives saw him push the ball forward.
Jay Dasilva (Coventry): He netted their first Premier League goal in 25 years, scoring the winner from right‑back.
Luka Vuskovic (Brighton): At Arsenal he showed a dominant defensive game and composure, pressing aggressively and helping midfield recover the ball.
Jeremy Jacquet (Liverpool): He was the clear standout versus Bournemouth – quick, fierce and calm on the ball.
Lewis Hall (Newcastle): Goals, assists, constant improvement. After United’s display against Fulham, you wonder why they haven’t signed him.
Antoine Semenyo (Man City): Two scores and an assist, thriving under Enzo Maresca’s freer approach compared with Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola seems to micromanage each move – for my money, that stifles creativity.
Joe Willock (Newcastle): He’s shedding his shell this season, now a week‑in, week‑out engine in midfield, driving the ball 50 yards with relentless energy.
Chema Andres (Brighton): Midfield pressure on Arsenal was relentless; he likely won the ball back from Rice, Guimarães and Ødegaard at least 15 times, scoring as well.
Johan Manzambi (Aston Villa): His transfer fee makes sense – after injury he returned to score and assist in his first start, a remarkable impact.
Brian Brobbey (Sunderland): He netted a hat‑trick against Manchester City. Though they lost, his performance earned him big credit ahead of the international break.
Charalampos Kostoulas (Brighton): Goal, assist and sharp link‑up play; his physicality troubled Arsenal throughout.
Georginio Rutter’s injury and Danny Welbeck’s exit opened the door for the Greek teen to settle comfortably in Brighton’s starting eleven.
Keith Andrews (Brentford): Despite Brentford’s 3‑0 win over Chelsea, I can’t fit a player from that side into the XI. His momentum makes him manager of the week – an impressive start.
