Wandering Premier League managers beware, Mikel Arteta has the receipts?
The Gunners’ coach admits he’s often drifted beyond the technical line, yet insists he isn’t the league’s biggest offender.
After picking up his second yellow of the campaign during Arsenal’s win over Everton, Arteta said he’s compiled a dossier proving many peers escape punishment.
“I have to watch myself. They should install sensors there,” he warned.
“Some managers have walked off the touchline 36 times in ten minutes without a card,” he added.
For my money, his massive image archive could finally force stricter oversight of sideline conduct.
“If the record stands at 36 yellows in ten minutes, we’ll see what happens next,” he mused, eyeing the data.
What secret manager holds that seemingly untouchable record, and how will Arteta use the footage?
Until the files surface, every Premier League boss should tread carefully – will Arteta’s evidence reshape the rulebook?
