Thierry Henry, the French football legend, is putting his opulent New York penthouse up for sale – a property he bought in 2010 when he joined the Red Bulls, now listed at $25 million (≈ €22 million).
The former Arsenal striker and partner Andrea Rajacic are ready to move on from New York. Their ultra‑luxury Soho penthouse is on the market via Sotheby’s, priced at $25 million (about €22 million). Henry snapped up the top‑floor suite in 2010 after signing with the New York Red Bulls, where he played four seasons before retiring in 2014.
Bought for €13 million in 2010
Arriving from Barcelona, Henry’s wife fell in love with the view on day one. The Manhattan loft gazes over the Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges. The couple merged two units into one, paying $14.9 million (≈ €13 million) for the combined space.
Sotheby’s describes the residence as “a private home suspended in the sky, in the heart of SoHo.” The 39 Crosby penthouse sits atop an intimate, cast‑iron‑styled building on one of SoHo’s most coveted cobblestone streets, offering rare space, privacy and discretion in downtown Manhattan. Inside, 565 m² of living area and roughly 316 m² of outdoor space host five bedrooms, five full baths, two guest toilets and multiple living and entertaining zones across several levels.
A standout perk is the arrival experience: two private parking spots and a secure elevator let residents step straight from car to home, delivering an almost unheard‑of level of privacy, comfort and safety in SoHo.
Since hanging up his boots, Henry has dabbled in coaching (Monaco, Montreal, France U‑21) and works as a pundit for CBS Sports and Amazon Prime Video after a stint with Fox for the 2026 World Cup. He also holds a stake in Italy’s Como, coached by former Arsenal teammate Cesc Fàbregas. In my view, his media ventures keep his brand as vibrant as his playing days.
Asked by the Wall Street Journal about the sale, the Arsenal icon admits parting with the loft is bittersweet. “We fell in love with this place and leaving New York was incredibly hard,” he said, noting the couple withdrew the listing in 2025.
