CONMEBOL confirmed the kickoff time for the 2026 Copa Sudamericana between Boca Juniors and Atlético Mineiro.
Kickoff will start at 19:30 Argentine time, and it will be staged at the Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla, Colombia.
The clash between Boca and Atlético Mineiro is set for Saturday November 21 in a single, neutral‑venue final, with both sides eyeing one of the season’s top international trophies.
How each side reached the Copa Sudamericana final
Boca, led by coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena, earned its spot after overcoming Vasco da Gama. After a 1‑0 loss in the first leg, they turned the tie around with a 3‑1 win at the Maracanã.
Opposite them, Atlético Mineiro, under Eduardo Domínguez, knocked out Montevideo City Torque 3‑2 on aggregate, after a 3‑0 victory in Belo Horizonte. For my money, Atlético Mineiro looks the sharper side.
Meanwhile, the champion will not only lift the trophy but also secure a berth in the 2027 Recopa Sudamericana.
When the Copa Libertadores final takes place
Beyond the Sudamericana final, CONMEBOL also released details for the match that will crown the 2026 Copa Libertadores champion.
Estudiantes de La Plata and Palmeiras will meet on Saturday November 28 at Montevideo’s Estadio Centenario, Uruguay. The game kicks off at 17:00 across Argentina, the host nation and Brazil.
The Estudiantes earned their ticket after dispatching Flamengo in a penalty shootout at the Maracanã. Palmeiras, meanwhile, had to survive a 12‑man showdown to eliminate Fluminense.
