Which stadium will host Boca’s return clash with Vasco da Gama? CONMEBOL told TN it has pushed the deadline, giving the Brazilian side until Tuesday, 13 October, 12 pm to file the required paperwork and lock in the venue for the Copa Sudamericana semifinal second leg.
The original cutoff was Saturday, 10 October, but the governing body granted the Rio club an additional day amid ongoing legal wrangles over Maracanã usage. For my money, the extra day was a sensible compromise. The decision must be made before the series kicks off, with the first leg slated for Tuesday at La Bombonera.
