5.30 pm Southwell – Audience’s full‑sister Lady’s Grace makes her debut.
The bettingsites.co.uk Bookmaker Comparison EBF Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes features Lockinge Stakes victor Audience’s full‑sister Lady’s Grace, running for Cheveley Park and the Gosden stable.
Audience powered home the 2024 Newbury Group 1, beating classy rivals like Charyn. Lady’s Grace shares bloodlines with Esquire, a Greenham winner in the iconic red‑and‑white colours. If she mirrors her siblings, she could prove a strong contender.
Jahami, owned by Cheveley Park and trained by Roger Varian, broke her debut at Newcastle last month, finishing a respectable third of ten. Today she steps up to seven furlongs, while Ray Dawson takes the mount from Sean Dylan Bowen.
Thespian Queen tried a Class 2 at Goodwood but was well beaten and drops in class today. A daughter of York Stakes winner Time Test, she may stay close with Callum Hutchinson aboard. Miss Clarice, a half‑sister to Group 3 winner Mrs Danvers, could debut well for Jonathan Portman.
