The Franz Beckenbauer Supercup will crown its champion on 14 August 2027, pitting league winners against cup holders. The DFB Cup kicks off the same weekend, with first‑round ties from 13‑16 August. Matches for the Supercup participants are slated for 24‑25 August, and the final lands on 20 May 2028 at Berlin’s Olympiastadion. For my money, the early August clash will set the tone for the whole campaign.
