Baltimore Ravens wrote the kicker Tyler Loop in the sixth round of the tow last month as an elder Justin Tuckerremains under the league’s investigation for possible improper conduct.
On Sunday’s newcomer Minicamp on Ravens, coach John Harbaugh was asked about the power to have both in the building at this stage. The coach said that the only focus was on what will happen on the field in potential kicker battles.
“I would just tell the perspective of the study and all that, we don’t know anything,” Harbaugh said through the official copy of the team. “We have not been given any information, as it should be. It’s all done as it is done. So we don’t know anything according to these lines, so you can’t make any decisions based on it.
“Every decision we make must be based on football. There is a lot of the law to that. You have a newcomer kicker [Tyler Loop] here. We took him in the sixth round, early in the sixth round. He is a talented guy. Just from a football point of view, a salary cap, all the different things you just take into account – whatever we decide to do in the coming weeks would be based on football. “
Harbaugh noted that Tucker has been in the building “the last few weeks kicking and everything.”
The NFL is investigating allegations of the improper conduct of Tucker towards 16 massages from eight Baltimore spa between the New Year 2012 until 2016. Tucker has denied any misconduct.
This 35 -year -old is also coming from the worst season of his career and creating a downturn in the field boundaries (22) and a goal on the ground (73.3).
The ravens made the loop the first kicker selected in the draft in the history of the right to vote.
