Joe Flacco, Browns, acknowledges the first game in Baltimore where departure is “big”

Joe Flacco, Browns, acknowledges the first game in Baltimore where departure is "big"

As long -lasting NFL fans could point out, the last trio won its seat in Canton as a dense end for Browns. Newsome resigned from Pro Football after the 1990 period, joined the Cleveland head office in 1991 and followed them on their trip to Baltimore in 1996.

Effectively, Sunday’s game is a multilateral reunion with lots of personal relationships: Flacco first return to Baltimore and the right to vote that celebrated the beginning for a match against the team that made their existence possible.

Although this was a coincidence, Browns fans see an obvious connection between their meeting on Sunday and the timing of Baltimore’s birthday. Flacco is also aware of that.

“Yes, you know, it’s funny because it’s not the first thing I think about, you know, not to be from here, but I can understand what it looks like,” Flacco said. “And listen, they do these things, and I think you can take it as you want. If you are from Cleveland you can take it in one way, and if you are from Baltimore you can say it’s not a big deal. It’s just one of these things.

“True, for me, it makes it more exciting. You know, we have to go there when they are throwing, you know, when they are having a few people again and just more players, more eyes on you. It will make it more interesting.”

If the game in Week 2 between the league’s competitors that share more history than the average pair of competitors is entertaining, he will be considered a victory for Cleveland, especially after they lost in a week 1.

The situation around the game could be fun enough. Flacco hopes that the team he is in will be victorious so he can smile as he goes through the tunnel of alien guests.
