Jets WR Garrett Wilson (knee) placed on injured reserve, out at least four games

Jets WR Garrett Wilson (knee) placed on injured reserve, out at least four games

Wilson aggravated a knee injury in the Jets’ Week 10 win over the Browns that forced him to miss Weeks 7 and 8. After Week 9 in New York, Wilson returned to action against Cleveland but was unable to make a reception before injuring his knee and missing the game.

Wilson remains the Jets’ leader in receptions (36), receiving yards (395) and receiving touchdowns (four) this season despite the time already being taken.

New York is currently riding a two-game winning streak after starting 2025 with a seven-game losing streak. Maintaining that success without Wilson, who sat out the Jets’ first win of the season, suggests an uphill battle for a Jets team short of air that ranks last in the NFL at 143.8 yards per game.

Mason Taylor is the other leading receiver with 30 catches for 246 yards and one TD, while running back Breece Hall sits behind the tight end (22 receptions, 220 yards, TD).

Tyler Johnson and Arian Smith will be the top two WRs on the depth chart. They have combined for 16 receptions for 234 yards and one score this season.

Newly acquired Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie III could also be a factor in the passing game.
