The New York Jets are trading cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday, according to sources.
Gardner, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 draft, burst onto the NFL scene with back-to-back All-Pro campaigns in his first two seasons.
Mitchell, a second-round pick in 2024, has 32 receptions for 464 yards in 25 games played in his sophomore season.
The Colts (7-2) are making a stunning splash at the trade deadline.
