Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will not appeal the $ 250,000 fine this week, according to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero on Friday.
Jones was fined after making obscene gestures to fans at Metlife Stadium in last Sunday’s New York Jets victory.
Earlier this week, the owner of the cowboys said that the long tug he showed was “unintentional” and was supposed to be a thumb up.
“It was unfortunate. It was a kind of exchange with our fans in front of us,” Jones said on Tuesday at 105.3 fan. “There was a swift of Cowboys fans in front – not Jets fans, Cowboys fans. The whole course was full of enthusiasm cowboys and certainly late in the game.”
