Lionel Messi just unveiled his pick of ten under‑21 prodigies, including USMNT wing‑back Zavier Gozo, Arsenal forward Max Dowman and Mexico midfielder Gilberto Mora.
Gozo, who turns out for Crystal Palace in the Premier League, earned his first USMNT call‑up in the latest international window and logged a brief cameo off the bench.
He didn’t dominate the four‑match Pochettino squad, as Cavan Sullivan, Julian Hall and Justin Ellis shone more brightly, yet his upside is clear – for my money, Gozo’s ceiling is sky‑high.
