Run Tyrone Tracy Jr. has gained a close understanding of the new world of Giants below the center and sees strength in numbers.
“I think the first thing you want to choose is that the leadership of the room will really help everyone in the locker room and in the team,” said Tracy on Friday during appearance Good morning football. “Obviously, you’ve got Russ, Mr. Unlimited. Then, you’ve got Jameis – he’s the person who has the personality. He can really connect with everyone in the football team. And then you’ve got Jaxson Dart, Mr. Cool Dude, who comes with Swagger, like Italian vibe but he is not Italian.
“They come up with a lot of different works we need. I think, too, with Russ, he brings the lead where he is more reputable, he is talking up, he lets people know where we are going and everyone is in the same train. That’s what we need as a football.”
With 199 processes starting with his CV, Wilson comes with the greatest experience in the room. The 36 -year -old is also Wilson’s last shot to reach the starting lineup in the NFL, especially after he failed to lift Steelers last season beyond the same result and they have produced a large part of the last decade.
Most people expect Wilson to earn the job and break out on the stadium as the team’s starting team for a week. But he is not the only leader in the Giants locker room, according to Tracy.
“I would not tell the package leaders because Jameis and Russ, they both have very good power as they both respect each other,” said Tracy. “They both allow each other to lead in their own way, whatever it may be. If Jameis wants to say something, Russ will not come and say this is how it is. He will let Jameis speak and lead his own way.
“I think it’s very good because you need more than one leader. You need more than one person who speaks up. It can’t just be Russ or Jameis. It has to be running back, line bakers, D-ends, you know what I’m saying?
