Can a champion really bring a legend back to the streets? Lando Norris, the 2025 F1 champion, was photographed cruising London in his Ferrari F40, proving the exotic machine is back after its dramatic early‑2025 crash.
The F40 slipped on a left‑hand turn outside Monaco in January 2025 while a friend was at the wheel, losing grip and slamming into the guardrails.
“It wasn’t normal at all. I was away and pretty upset,” Norris told The Sun shortly after the incident.
Norris collected the F40 in late 2024, one of just 1,311 ever built between 1987 and 1992. It was the final model overseen by Enzo Ferrari and the first road car to top 200 mph.
After finishing third at the inaugural Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid, the Briton was later seen piloting the F40 through London streets.
For my money, Norris’s taste in cars is unmatched. One fan wrote, “Good to see this car on the road again after a friend crashed it,” while another added, “Unbelievable taste in cars.”
Another user joked, “Are Lando and Lewis car‑sharing? Velcro on the back of the number plates?”
Seven‑time champion Lewis Hamilton recently added a Ferrari F40 to his garage after liquidating his previous collection, unveiling it ahead of the Italian Grand Prix.
