Endrick’s departure is logical given that he has only played 99 minutes this season, spread over three games, the most against Talavera in the cup competition. Xabi Alonso hardly trusts the Brazilian, whose main goal with this move is to get minutes to earn a place in Brazil’s squad for the World Cup in the United States. A place that seemed guaranteed just over a year ago, but his relegation this season has taken it away from him. At least for now.
The reality is that Endrick’s first season at Madrid was not easy either.
