Eagles three-time Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson indicates he will return in 2026

NFL Week 12 takeaways: What we learned from Sunday's 12 games

NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported on Feb. 5 that Dickerson’s future was uncertain due to the 27-year-old’s growing injury woes.

However, the quarterback is Dickerson, just like teammate Lane Johnson. The right tackle announced he will return for the 14thi.e period just six days earlier. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Johnson was one of the first to like Dickerson’s post.

Dickerson, who tore it twice in college, had knee surgery in training camp last year. His bad luck continued in Week 1 when he injured his back and he injured his ankle several times later in the season.

A symptom of the Eagles’ recent success, Philadelphia’s offensive line wasn’t its usual dominant self in 2025, as the team struggled to find its footing and fell short of a Super Bowl repeat with a loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

With Dickerson, who has pitched, playing in 15 games and Johnson missing seven contests, it wasn’t that hard to find the reasons for those struggles.

With Dickerson and Johnson on board for 2026, the Eagles should have their entire starting front five back and hopefully happy: left tackle Jordan Mailata, left guard Dickerson, center Cam Jurgens, right guard Tyler Steen and right tackle Johnson.

One huge change will be the departure of O-line coach extraordinaire Jeff Stoutland. He has been replaced by Chris Kuper, but Philadelphia’s new offensive line coach should have five starters at his disposal.
