It is a relief for Philadelphia Eagles.
Eagles striker Landon Dickerson will undergo a minor right knee procedure, which he injured during Sunday night training, according to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo on Monday.
Dickerson will be a week for a week with the goal of being ready to start the normal season of September 4 against cowboys, add Rapoport and Garafolo.
Although Pro Bowler injuries are not good news, optimism that he could be ready for week 1 is considering that the first concern was that he was dealing with a significant issue.
During a Sunday night training at Lincoln Financial Field, Dickerson went down to the game. After receiving attention from the coaches, he reportedly limped off the field with the help of the left tackle of Jordan Mailata and the coach before he was a trolley indoors.
Losing Dickerson for a long time had been a major setback in the league’s top offensive. Eagles are already integrating the new right guard Tyler Steen. Brett Toth replaced Dickerson for the rest of the practice on Sunday night.
With the procedure to take place and hopefully a speedy recovery to follow Dickerson, you still have to get back on the field, but for now it is the best case for Dickerson and the prevailing Super Bowl champion.
