Chubb ended with five chances in 25 meters. 5.0 meters per carry is closer to what we would be used to seeing from the bulldozer again.
The 29 -year -old suffered unpleasant injuries to two games in the period 2023. He returned to Cleveland last season, participated in eight games, but never looked like the old self. “I felt it was going well,” said Chubb. “I think as a whole, the whole team has played well. The offensive, the big boys in front of it did a good job to get pushing, open holes. For me I haven’t played since December, so much anxiety, a lot of nerves, but it was good to go out and take back.
“One of the best things I do is break the tackle with the exercises. I mean, it’s pretty much marked, so I mean, I think the game lets you be more of yourself.”
