Cristiano Ronaldo’s second record is in danger: Harry Kane could surpass him again

Soccer has allowed us to see stars achieve great results filesregardless of age or how long a player has been in the game. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the icons of the sport who has achieved several of them but one of his records is in jeopardy.

Harry Kanewho recently stripped him of one of his achievements, could return to the attack and strip him of another record.

Kane close to surpassing CR7 again

The Bayern Munich Star recently scored his 500th career goal after scoring twice in a 3-0 win over Werder Bremen. Amazingly, it took him 743 gamescompared to Cristiano’s 753.

This means Kane could go on to equal the 41-year-old Portuguese star’s second feat in his time at Real Madrid. Cristiano is currently the fastest player to reach 150 goals for the club, in just 149 games.

And while this record seems impossible to beat, the 32-year-old already has scored 126 goals for Bayern in 131 gamesleaving him just 24 goals short of CR7’s record in his next 18 games.

The truth is that Kane’s high level of play this season could make the dream possible, but for that he would need to play the full 90 minutes of the remaining games and a goal on average every 67.5 minutesaccording to One football.

It is even more surprising Harry is already doing thisaveraging a goal every 68.8 minutes, so if he wants to break the record he will have to pick up the pace even more. However, if he wants to equal he needs an average of at least one goal every 71.3 minutes.

Even if Kane doesn’t reach that goal, he still would become the second fastest player to score 150 goals for a club. Erling Haaland needed 173 games with Manchester City, Zlatan Ibrahimovic needed 176 with PSG, and Robert Lewandowski needed 193 games with Bayern.

Meanwhile, Bayern are leading the Bundesliga with 57 points. They will host Frankfurt (seventh with 31 points) this saturdayFebruary 21 at the Allianz Arena as Kane looks to continue his scoring streak.
