Difficult as it is that Father, Philadelphia Eagles – the prevailing Super Bowl champions – have never demanded AP NFL MVP in Super Bowl times.
Only one player – team leader Norman Van Brocklin in 1960 – has been elected MVP in the league in Eagles’ history, which dates from 1933.
Eagles, who was aiming for the period 2025 and towards a bid for Super Bowl, could well have two MVP candidates for team manager Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.
Barkley and sorely represent a Philadelphia club, which is one of seven in the NFL who has never let a player win MVP in the Super Bowl era.
They join Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
