Indianapolis Colts prefers to go with the more experienced option below the center to start a key item 2025.
The Colts, who calls Daniel Jones their starting team over Anthony Richardson for his opening season against Miami Dolphins on September 7, announced the team on Tuesday.
NFL Network, Tom Pelissero, first reported the news. Pelissero added that Colts head coach Shane Steichen informed QB of his decision on Tuesday morning.
“He is the starting manager of the season,” Steichen said of Jones on Tuesday through the Indianapolis star. “I don’t want to have a short leash.”
The news comes days after another Indianapolis Prime Minister, where Jones finished 7 of 11 transmissions in 101 meters while Richardson left 6 out of 11 who went 73 meters.
Colts wrote to Jones this dissatisfaction as a competition for Richardson, no. 4 The total selection in the draft 2023 that had struggled with both health and performance for the first two periods.
