Chargers agree to terms with C Tyler Biadasz on three-year, $30 million deal

Chargers agree to terms with C Tyler Biadasz on three-year, $30 million deal

The signing underscores the lucrative market for offensive linemen heading into free agency. Biadasz was supposed to make $8.3 million in Washington in 2026. Instead, he’s getting a raise to fly across the country.

Offensive linemen are in high demand, especially those with starting experience who have shown the ability to stay on the field.

Biadasz, a former Dallas Pro Bowler, has started at least 15 games each of the last five seasons. He may not be a top-five pick, but the 28-year-old is a proven grinder who is solid in both the run and passing games. Bradley Bozeman struggled last year under center for the Chargers and eventually retired this season. Biadasz represents a clear upgrade of the situation.

The Chargers have a lot more needs on the line, especially at guard and tackle for the backup swing, with both Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater coming off season-ending injuries. They’re far from done on the line, but at least LA heads into free agency with one big question answered.
