Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon expects Marvin Harrison Jr.

Marvin Harrison Jr. had the average newcomer period, nothing close to what was expected of no. 4 Total selection in the 2024 NFL draft.

Arizona Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon told Adam Schein on Wednesday in Mad Dog Sports Radio, Siriusxm, that he expects 2 years to jump from the receiver no. 1.

“When the staff is present, the jump from 1 year 2 years year, I think it’s where guys are making a lot of jumping,” said Gannon. “This guy played unbelievable balls for us, but if you talk to him, he would be the first to tell you, like,” I need to get better in these pairs, “and man, he has started working on them. He has started working on them. He looks scary now.

In 2024, Harrison won 62 catch on 116 targets in 885 meters with eight matches. He finished fifth among newcomers at the reception of meters, well after Brian Thomas Jr. (1,282), Malik Nabers (1,204), the dense end of the Brock Bowers (1,194) and Ladd McConkey (1,149).

Becoming more effective is a step one for Harrison to take steps a year. In comparison, McConkey returned another 264 meters of four fewer targets than Harrison Jr., with an additional 20 catch.

For a long time, Harrison’s chemistry appeared with team manager Kyler Murray, where the two rarely came on the same page – something that QB has admitted to being working to correct. Production Wideout stood and streamed. He made three games on 90 yards that scored (week 2, 8 and 17) while he went in fewer than 40 meters seven times. Harrison was prominent in this dissatisfaction, which should help against bullying balls.

Gannon believes Harrison uses a mindset and a measure to correct what went wrong in the newcomer.

“He came to me – I usually met boys about their development plan when we have finished the year – when I had my meeting with him, he came to me and he handed me a piece of paper,” Gannon said. “It wasn’t me to hand him paper. But we knew it. The guy is ready -made pro. He does all the right things. He was here as a whole.

“I’m not going to speak truths into the universe, but just wait until this guy plays this year.”

The cards did not add significant runners for Harrison Offseason – especially a receiver who would threaten deeply to open intermediaries – who relied on the former year of Buckeye in 2 to reach the difference between 2024 to 2025.
