All the Titans that needed a chance or two to finally add to the previously empty winning column on Sunday.
They got a handful in Arizona and for the first time all year, Tennessee used and spent 21-6 deficit in the fourth quarter to bring one of the stunning NFL victories this season. The 22-21 victory was a victory that Brian Callahan’s coach needed.
“Things just have to go on you sometimes,” Callahan said after the Associated Press. “We haven’t had much of it so far this year, we haven’t had a lot of bounces in our favor and sometimes you need it.”
As has been the case in most of the Titans season to this goal, one team had to commit some error to give the other chance to win. Unlike four weeks ahead, Tennessee landed on a useful end of such misunderstanding and started with Cardinals running premature Babyer Emari Demercado where he let the ball hit a short distance from the goal line at the end of the 72 -meter run which seemed to seal the victory for Arizona.
It opened the door for Monumental fourth quarter for Titans, who paid a payment in six -game rolling, an 80 -meter scorer that saw Cam Ward finished three transmissions of 10 plus meters, including a 47 -meter strike to Calvin Ridley.
Ward’s heroes were only just getting started. After Tennessee received a gift of fumble in the Arizona final area (given from the Cardinals corner Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, who had interrupted a league pass) before contact, Ward was given another opportunity to deliver an exciting finish.
No. 1 Overall selected in the draft in April delivered and led 11 games, 71 meters driving containing another magnificent connection to Ridley in 38 meters of benefits that moved Tennessee to the 15 -meter line of Arizona with 32 seconds left to play. The long finish was enough to position Joey Slye, which was given the kicker for his own feeling.
“I wish I had started better,” Ward said. “But after all, it doesn’t matter how you start, that’s how you finish.”
