Ben Johnson promises ‘closed in’ Caleb Williams by a positive outing for the season

Ben Johnson promises 'closed in' Caleb Williams by a positive outing for the season

Up and down the Caleb Williams training camp landed in a big boom in a 38-0 victory on Sunday at the Buffalo Bills.

The starting team tolerated some rocky moments in his first camp under Ben Johnson, but on Sunday, a sharp sharp of two drives, including a 93 -meter opening tunnel, which was closed with a zipper to Olamide Zaccheaus, which weaving for 36 meters.

“He has really been closed inside,” Johnson said of Williams on the team’s official website. “Whenever you are a young player, there is usually a few steps forward and one step back and it has really been the story of his training camp. He and I have been really open and honest about it where we have gone through. He has had very good habits and he has had a pair where it is,” It’s not good enough, “it’s not good.” I thought that really three days of exercises we had this week and this game was the one he has stacked up good days in a row now.

In two drives, Williams showed the sky -high potential of Johnson’s offense. QB achieved its convenient goals in steps, knew what discrepancies should target and was calm in his pocket. Last year we saw a lot of Improv from QB. Sunday he played the timing game in Johnson’s fraction.

“We didn’t have the best field position to start there,” said Johnson. “So I thought these guys did a really good job of doing it on the stadium. Caleb made some big throws to keep them driving and some explosives there. It was good to see.”

There are only two front pages on the front pages, but after rough camps, it is encouraging to see QB in the year 2 take steps.

“I think it sets the tone for how we expect us to go there and play and go there and perform,” said Williams. “It was extremely important.”

QB ended 6 out of 10 in 107 meters, one eg and 130.0 points.

“I think I had some of these (poor) habits in the camp,” said Williams. “I felt like I took two steps forward, little things that I felt like I came over. So I took a step back, probably. It’s just to be able to keep that mind, growth thinking, continue to grow, keep going.”

It is foolish to respond to some series in advance of seasons, but the positive thing for Chicago is that Williams showed that he can be the timing that Johnson wants. Taking the right reading and being accurate is half the battle. Sunday he did it constantly.
