Tampa has the weapons to increase the shot in the middle if Grizzard calls for them more than the former and Liam Coen last season. Mike Evans has always been a vertical weapon. Jalen McMillan showed a glance last year by being a deep threat. Additions newcomer Emeka Egbuka and Tez Johnson bring that capacity. Chris Godwin may not be a regular deep threat, but when he is healthy, he can improve them by attracting coverage.
Mayfield said that building a relationship to increase the number of shots in the middle was one that the new offense focuses on during minicamp.

The hope in Tampa is that the weapons at their disposal will lead to a deep fits. At least, if he threatens deeply more than 7.5% of the time, it could help to open them under routes even more in 2025.
