The NFL announced Monday that 28 teams will participate in joint practices during the 2026 preseason.
NFL teams are allowed to hold up to four joint practices during the preseason. The teams usually practice together before a pre-season game, but the rules state that no joint practice can be held the day before a pre-season game.
In 2025, 29 teams held at least one joint training session during the preseason.
