While it was a private ceremony, among the rings’ myriad features was a tribute to Seattle’s devoted fan base — 12 years.
There is a 12 flag on the side, which is a button that releases the Lumen Field arcs and reveals the words “WORLD CHAMPIONS.” At the bottom of the ring are 12 feathers to represent the fan base. Fifty white diamonds surround the center logo commemorating the 50 franchise.i.e season
The ring also opens to reveal a piece of football that was used during the season and has the number 50 on it.
Smackdab in the middle of the ring is a pair of Seahawks blue sapphires along with two Lombardi Trophies – representing each of the franchise’s Super Bowl wins.
A range of hidden details are also within the design.
Thursday night was a nod to last season’s greatness as the Seahawks held mandatory minicamp earlier in the day and the start of the club’s summer break before heading back to July for the start of training camp and the team’s defense of a Super Bowl that it now has the jewelry to celebrate forever.
