Love the ability to burst through the hole and blast past linebackers. The 6-foot running back is an ideal combination of power and speed, able to fly by tackles with quick feet or bowl over defenders, drop forward for extra yards. His ability to deck without punching down is an elite ability. RB also runs routes with WR accuracy and has great hands. He is the total package.
Freeman pointed out that despite all the explosives and home plays, it’s the little things Love does that make him so special.
“Some of his most impressive runs are not ones you’ll see on TV,” Freeman said. “There are those who, when you’re watching film and you say, ‘Oh my God, he made that play for a 4-yard gain, it should have been a two-yard loss,’ I mean, he’s just, he’s really special and he’s a unique, unique talent.”
The question is whether a team ranked in the top five is willing to spend a draft pick on a quarterback, regardless of how dynamic the player is. We’ll find out next week.
