Odell Beckham Jr. hopes that flag football is a "starting point" for the return of the NFL

Odell Beckham Jr is back on the radar after participating in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic this weekend. The former star hasn’t played in an NFL game since Dec. 8, 2024, but hopes the flag experience will put him back on the radar.

“Looking forward to hopefully getting a chance to play this year and hopefully this is just the beginning,” Beckham told Kay Adams at the Fanatics event.

Beckham was specifically asked what it would be like to rejoin the Giants, his first NFL team, where Jaxson Dart could use some receiver help.

“Weird, you said that. That sounds good,” Beckham replied when asked about Dart. “If the opportunity comes, I’d love to do it. Be excited about it. He’s a good guy. He’s young and likes to dance. I like all that. He looks like he likes to have fun. If I get the chance.”

Playing with a smaller-than-regulation ball during the pennant rally, Beckham showed he can still touch the pigskin, making some nice catches, including a one-handed touchdown over a defender.
