The Seahawks gathered at Lumen Field to celebrate days after winning Super Bowl LX over the Patriots.
Before a parade through downtown Seattle, fans filled the stadium as they have every home game this season, feted by Seahawks executives, coaches and players with mementos of the team’s monumental accomplishment.
From general manager John Schneider and head coach Mike Macdonald to Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and many members of the Dark Side defense, Leonard Williams probably best summed up the prevailing sentiment when he took the microphone: “We’re not done. We’ll be back next year. Yeah! I’m not f—— going!”
Perhaps fittingly, the Seahawks won their second Lombardi Trophy 12 years after their first, and they drank in the moment in the only way possible – surrounded by a 12-sea.
