Rams WR Davante Adams: 'It's tough to talk' after losing fifth career NFC Championship game

Adams called the Super Bowl “legendary” this week leading up to Sunday’s deficit, something he discussed but was not allowed to touch on. So it continues.

Seattle has been the scene of a heartbreaking NFC Championship loss for Adams. In his rookie season, the Packers lost to the Seahawks in overtime after a poor recovery. Sunday, his rams trailed after a silent pole and were denied a shot to take a late lead, but he failed in fourth from the door.

“It’s hard to focus right now,” Adams said when asked about the positives from his first season in LA. “It’s tough. It’s a tough moment we’re in right now. So, process the emotions of it and then worry about it. Obviously, I love this team, love what this team is about. Love the fight we had all year. It’s just sad.”

The wideout had four catches for 89 yards with a touchdown Sunday, including two catches of 20-plus yards.

Adams signed a two-year contract in Los Angeles this summer and clearly has a lot left in the tank. Barring a magical decision to walk away, the future Hall of Famer will continue to search for a path to this legendary game.
