Philip Rivers’ return to the NFL could continue on the sidelines in 2026.
The Buffalo Bills are interviewing Rivers on Friday for the head coaching job, NFL Networks insider Ian Rapoport reported, according to sources.
Rapoport adds that Bills quarterback Josh Allen is sitting in on interviews with Buffalo.
Rivers, who retired in 2025 and made three starts for the Indianapolis Colts, coached in St. Michael Catholic High School in Alabama before returning to the NFL at age 44.
