The Eagles offense faces another bottom defense in Week 16. The Chiefs have the 31st-ranked total defense in 2025 (382.6 total YPG allowed). Washington is also allowing 26.8 points per game in 2025 (26th in the NFL).

“I think we are very close [to starting to play our best football] and that is important. Everyone gets caught up in how well teams are playing in the first five games, the first half of the season. None of that matters,” Barkley said. “Obviously it matters because you’ve got to give yourself a chance to compete in the playoffs and compete to win your division, but if you look at some of these teams that were the boys or the teams half the year, they’re falling.
“It’s a long season; it’s difficult. Everything we want is still in front of us and we can finish the season the way we want.”
Barkley is 60 yards shy of 1,000-yard rushing campaigns, a feat he hasn’t accomplished since his first two seasons in New York.
