On Tuesday, Stewart called out the company for wanting “winning arguments (more) than winning more games.”
Taylor was asked about these comments on Thursday.
“I think there is education that happens with all the newcomer we do our best to educate them,” he said. “No.
Stewart previously participated in the meetings of this Offseason but has not done any work on the field with the club. Stewart said on Tuesday that he will not practice until he has a contract. Taylor was confident that Miss time would not struggle with the growth of the gap.
“I think for all newcomers, they want them to be out on the field, but certainly there are things that happen during the NFL process and this is one of them now,” he said. “He has been at the meetings, he has been positive in that way. He has been learning. He is a good student. We look forward to getting him back to the stadium quickly.”
Taylor added that he did not intend to “let any predictions” as to whether the negotiating dispute in the first round would be blowing over with training camps.
