Carlie Irsay-Gordon to serve the main owner of Indianapolis Colts following the death of father, Jim Irsay

The Indianapolis Colts announced on Monday that Carlie Irsay-Gordon will take up a position as the main owner of the right to vote as part of the team’s transition following his father’s death, Jim Irsay.

The official title of Irsay-Gordon, immediately, will be immediately owned and CEO of the team.

The two daughters of Irsay, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson, will share in the leadership of the team as part of ownership. FOT will take on the role of the owner and Secretary General of Vice President, but Jackson is the owner and main trademark representative as well as his role as President of the Indianapolis Colts Foundation.

Irsay-Gordon, Foyt and Jackson previously served as vice-chairman/owner of Colts since 2012 and their new roles and titles are “according to long-term plans by Jim Irsay,” according to the team.

Jim Irsay died at the age of 65 on May 21. Irsay took up his position as the team’s main owner in 1997 following his father Robert Irsay, the first owner of the team, that the Colts took place in the finals 16 times, winning two AFC championships and one Super Bowl while he worked.

Irsay-Gordon joined the Colts as Vice President in 2008 and is a member of the Media and Operations Committee, 32 Equity Committee, Strategic Capital Fund and Security and Fan Committee.
