Ladd McConkey was a revelation as a rookie and led the WR1 Los Angeles Chargers out of the gate.
As a novice, the McConkey led the chargers with 1,149 that received meters on 82 catch, both team heights, and added seven contact. No other LA player reached a 750 meter goal.
McConkey spent most of his time in slots (65%, on the next gene statistics), but abusive manager Greg Roman suggested that this year, the chargers wanted to move him more to create discrepancies.
“Ladd came as a surprise – but he was such a weapon,” Roman said in a recent episode of Podcast Weekly Weekly. “” I mean, just so reliable.
Given the makeup Wideout Corps, McConkey still turns as a prominent slot of the receiver, with Quentin Johnston, Mike Williams and Tre Harris in the second league as the top. Roman, however, stated that by moving McConkey around more will ensure that defense will not easily double it.
“We’re going to move him around, “said Roman.” The guy has some serious talent and a serious will to do it. Even in the playoff game, look at his production in the playoffs. He is a guy we’re just going to keep growing with.
