Rams LB Jared Verse thinks he left "about 10 sacks on the pitch" in the New Year: "It's not happening anymore"

The work was written with no. 19 in total in the NFL draft 2024 as the first choice of Rams since 2016, and truly proved to be worthy of confidence that LA put in him in his newcomer campaign, where this 24-year-old played all 17 games and won the aforementioned Pro Bowl Nod and Droy Award.

He was in fourth place among all rushing pressure pressure (76), at the next gene Stats, also registered 66 tackles, 18 QB hits and a pair of forced fumbles and past defense. He came strong in two Rams games after the season, picked up two bags in play games and returned fumble for contact in his wild streets.

But it was his 4.5 sacks that the verse was specifically allowed in a compensation area and said he believed that he could have been triple it in total if he had limited mistakes and be more intentional with his movements.

“Yes, I was doing a lot of things, but I probably left 10 bags on the field just from being a little too inside, just this, just that, just that, not taking the extra step,” said the verse on Tuesday at Adam Schefter Podcast. “When I look at it, I’m like it’s not happening anymore, so things I could do now are a whole different conversation.”

A total of 14.5-seeds would have put a second in the league in the sacks in 2024 after Myles Garrett, a sublime number for all players to aim, much less in their first season. Verse will have the opportunity to copy these words with a higher cancellation during his second period, although he would not say whether he was aiming for exactly that number this time.

“All I know is that it will be up, that’s the only thing I know, because I’m not giving up like I was last year,” said Vers. “I have learned to take this little extra steps, keep my feet under me and I take everything I’ve got this year.”
