Chris Hubbard deserves Kevin Love for his mental health work: "Kevin to be a song helped us all"

Miami Heat Big Man Kevin Love has a long champion in mental health consciousness. He has been publicly on mental health issues he has been discussing over the years, including anxiety and depression.

He also founded Kevin Love Fund to “encourage people to live their healthy life by creating equity between mental and physical health.”

Courage Love to talk about his mental health and willingness to help those who are in need have had ripple effects on outside NBA athletes too. Chris Hubbard, NFL striker, who last played in the NFL with New York Giants in the period 2024, gave love a lot of credit for being a song about the matter.

“I look up to him,” Hubbard told Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, about Dolphin Nation.

“Just because we play professional sport doesn’t mean we don’t have any problems. Kevin to be a song helped us all.”

Hubbard has become a spokesman for mental health and aims to change the fact that so many people keep their struggles with himself.

Love and Hubbard both played for a professional sports team based in Cleveland at one point. Hubbard was a member of the Cleveland Browns for five seasons from the 2018 campaign through 2022 and Love played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in an eight plus season and helped the right to win their first title in 2016.

Although love is in a contract now as a member of the heat, Hubbard is still looking for a new home in NFL after he registered eight games and three starts with Giants last season. It is fair to ask if Hubbard will have another chance to play in the league, though, as he is getting up at the age of 34 and has played 11 NFL season now.

He told Robinson that a team is interested in him, a good sign for their chances of landing another job in the league.

Love should be proud that he has helped to standardize mental health among professional athletes. He has had a positive effect on a lot of lives outside his own by speaking out and hopefully he can have a positive impact on the court in the campaign 2025-26.

The 36 -year -old was limited to only 23 games played and nine starting for his second full season that played for the Heat and his third season with the team as a whole.
