Barkley has points: Philadelphia was secretly in the high grass of the swamp early in the season while deciding shares and decided to expose himself for the first time in the week 7 victory over Giants, beat in New York and choke them in a 28-3 victory. This was the first example of what Eagles could be at its best, which was mostly their working methods when the season came into the winter months. From weeks 8-18, Eagles took place his opponents 329-188 and went 10-1 to close the usual season.
However, the period 2024 was not a hike. Eagles won five of these games with one possession, lost in a heartfelt way on the road in Washington rival (partly because of the injury due to injury) and did not go into the backing season as a favorite to win NFC (that title belongs to 15-2 Detroit Lions).
Of course, the final results are what matters most and Eagles said an indispensable statement with their perfect superiority in the two -hour defender Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl Lix. That win was so laped, it didn’t even matter that Barkley didn’t do much to help Eagles reign because he was held under 100 meters and without contact.
“I think we all just bought ourselves,” Barkley recalled. “You hear external noise and anticipation. We didn’t care how it looked. The only thing we cared about was winning football games.
Barkley has certainly gained the right to blow out his chest and keep his head high when he talked about Eagles 2024. To put them among all time all the time, however, need a little bias at this point.
“I really think that when we look back at it after 10 to 15 years and we are all old and we are thinking about our glory days – hopefully next year, the year we are in now – but the year we had last year, people do not give us enough credit,” he said.
Time – and we’re probably talking a decade or more from now on – will eventually tell. His case will be much stronger if Eagles can repeat his success in 2025, but there is plenty of work to finish before it becomes a reality.
