“The dream team”, as it was originally known, was awarded to the US men’s Basketball team at the Summer Olympic Games 1992.
Now the NFL could possibly boast of one.
Many of the NFL’s brightest stars have already had a flag football experience in the Pro Bowl games. From 2023, the league moved from playing a singular Pro Bowl to a multiday event that includes competitions and three flag football games that add to the final stages.
Before you can put together a roster, a few details must still be processed.
Among them will be injury and credit symptoms if a player injured while he is playing football in the flag, as well as ensuring that there are “certain minimum standards for medical and field surfaces” for NFL players, according to the original resolution.
The flag of football games and events must also be organized in such a way that “do not conflict abnormally” with the player’s obligations.
The summer Olympics 2028 will take place 14-30. July.
Tuesday, however, will stand high as a fabulous day where NFL players have got the green light to go to gold in the flag of football.
