Carlo Ancelotti believes Vinicius Jr is the best player in the world after the striker helped Real madrid defeat Liverpool 6-2 overall in the game The Champions League The round of 16.
Vinicius Jr, 22, put in another superb display for the reigning Champions League holders as Real cruised to a 1-0 win at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday. Karim Benzema provided Real’s winner in the 78th minute with his goal assisted by Vinicius Jr.
Ancelotti reserved special praise for the Brazilian – who has scored 19 goals this season – after Real progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals for the third consecutive season.
“For me he is (the best player in the world),” Ancelotti on Vinicius Jr. “He’s created a danger every time he’s tried to get forward.”

Benzema struggled and had to be replaced Rodrygo shortly after scoring but Ancelotti is sure that the Frenchman will be ready to go La Liga leaders Barcelona on Sunday.
“It looks like just a knock, but I think he’ll be good on Sunday,” Ancelotti added.
Real will now face one of Bayern Munich, Benfica, ChelseaInter Milan, Manchester City, AC Milan or Napoli in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
“I have no wishes (for the next round),” Ancelotti said ahead of Friday’s draw. “The goal is to win the Champions League and to do that you have to get past the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
“I’m happy, Italian football has three teams in the quarterfinals. It’s a very positive sign for Italian football.”
