Nick Shook’s NFL+ Moments of the Game:
An ugly day at Raymond James Stadium still contained plenty of moments worth watching, especially if you’re a fan of witnessing disaster. Enter the fray in the fourth quarter, as the Falcons cover nearly the entire field for 100 yards on a 10-play drive that appeared to end with a Desmond Ridder touchdown. Instead, Ridder’s trip across the goal line was interrupted by safety Antoine Winfield Jr., who punched the ball out of Ridder’s hand just before it crossed the plane, resulting in a fumble. Not to be outdone, the Buccaneers drove down the field and inbounded to tie the game. Instead, Baker Mayfield threw a pass into traffic for an easy interception. Atlanta followed with a three-and-out, and Tampa Bay responded by driving down once more, then punted three straight passes for a field goal before settling for a tie on the field, giving Ridder and Co. last chance in regulation. He answered and caught Kyle Pitts for a 39-yard touchdown run. Younghoe Koo finished the job just a few plays later, drilling a 51-yarder to send the Falcons to victory and atop the NFC South in anything but pretty fashion.
